Problem: You cannot synchronize with a generic LDAP server even though the parameters are entered correctly in MailStore Server. Instead, the following error message is shown:
MailStore Server was unable to retrieve a list of users from Directory Services. The server does not support the control. The control is critical.

Cause: The generic LDAP server does not support the "LDAP Control Extension for Simple Paged Results Manipulation" according to RFC 2696. This feature, which returns LDAP search results page-wise from the server, must be supported in order to synchronize with MailStore Server.
